Partners of the Year
In February at the Donor and Partner of the Year reception, Sharing Life announced the 2016 Partners of the Year. We have four categories this year: School Partner of the Year, Business Partner of the Year, Church Partner of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

This year's honorees are: Eastfield College, ​Pieces Technology, Inc., Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church and Scott Waters.

We are very thankful for the commitment each of these organizations and people have demonstrated and continue to demonstrate to us.

Eastfield College (EFC) has been an ardent supporter of Sharing Life for many years. Recently, Sharing Life has enjoyed the benefit of students from the Social Work Associate’s Degree program meeting their internship requirements by serving our clients. EFC students and staff are generous and motivated to help. From student led food drives to executive level contributions, we have always been able to count on EFC!
​Business Partner of the Year:
Pieces Technology, Inc.

Accepting the award is Jarred Mayrosh, COO, Pieces Technology, Inc.

Pieces technology, Inc. (PTI) is the developer of Pieces Iris™, is a configurable and cost effective case management and client tracking tool. It can provide a real-time view of clients served with a built-in sharing framework between social service organizations and healthcare providers. Sharing Life is the pilot social service organization for this cutting edge technology product. As the pilot, PTI has provided to Sharing Life outstanding customer service and IT support. This allows Sharing Life staff and volunteers to focus on the important work of serving people in need with the very best technology solution in our field.

STBC gives of their time through volunteering, their facilities by inviting us in and their resources by supporting Sharing Life with monthly contributions.  The leadership at STBC is always ready to take our calls and help us solve problems as they arise. When we introduced the opportunity to become a Community Distribution Partner (CDP), STBC jumped at the chance to partner with the SL Hub to offer nutritious food to people in their neighborhood experiencing food insecurity on a weekly basis. Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church is filled with loving, compassionate people who genuinely care about hunger and poverty alleviation in our community and are valuable partners to Sharing Life.
​Volunteer of the Year
Scott Waters
 
Accepting the award is Scott Waters.
 
Scott Waters is a hard worker. He is dependable and passionate about keeping the Sharing Life food pantry, neat, clean and well stocked. Scott volunteers 5 days per week joyfully leading other volunteers and assisting staff to be sure our client choice food pantry runs efficiently. Scott is a pleasure to be around and is a beloved member of the Sharing Life family. We are proud to present him the with the Volunteer of the Year award for 2016!
